Description

Galalith and copper penholder. Galalith ("milk stone", from the ancient Greek gála, "milk", and / líthos, "stone") is a thermosetting polymer derived from casein and one of the first plastics, along with ebonite, used for the manufacture of writing instruments in the early 20th century.
