Description

Large galalith pen holder. Galalith ("milk stone", from the ancient Greek gála, "milk", and / líthos, "stone") is a thermosetting polymer derived from casein and one of the first plastics, along with ebonite, used for the manufacture of writing instruments at the beginning of the 20th century. An advertisement is engraved on the side: "PIA - PINCHOT. Corderie - Beauvais". Length: 195mm. In very good condition. Comes with a box of assorted nibs. For learning to write with a pen holder.
